run fifty-three – 15k

December 10, 2006

Blimey, that’s almost 10 miles. Very happy with that. Not fast or anything but no walking and I did it. Started at Carburton Street, down through Oxford Street, across Waterloo Bridge and along the river to Bankside Studios (just past the Design Museum). And back. Crossing Waterloo Bridge was beautiful. Made me realise how lucky I am to have such excellent places to run.

It wasn’t until I went back to Run # 1 did i realise you were trekking through London. Lived in the great city of London for 18 months and did alot of running in and around Regents Park, along canals past Camden Town, Hill training on Primrose Hill behind the London Zoo, long runs down to Parliment building and over the bridge and up the river….

How I miss it. I envy you, greatly…patrick

I too miss running in London. I spent some months running along the Thames around Putney and Fulham, and also did a number of lunchtime runs around Waterloo Bridge, Blackfriars and Westminister.

You really do have a great place to run!
